Chthonius Sumatra Outer wrapper dry and peeled on the first 2 sticks out of the box. Burned well the rest of the way. 5 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra Cerberus.. I am a huge LFD fan . Ligas for breakfast. ... the fuller the meatier the better.. when I saw Cerberus in a 6x60 I envisioned a full body heavy smoke that kicked you in the junks. However what they turned out to be is a hard drawing, mediumish body and no mouth feel. They are a good overall smoke. For the price I would buy them again. Just did not live up to the name AT all.... 3 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra Bone Shaker. Night Shade, Witchdoktor I'd like you to meet our new member Black Abyss.. I really good medium smoke that greats more flavorful as it goes. Starts creamy and sweet and heats up to a nice stronger flavor. Mouth feel is very nice. You can take in a big Ole mouth of smoke and slowly let it out without getting blasted with cigar mouth. When they are dry they stick to your mouth. YUCK! I usually put them in the jar humidor a week before smoking and they come out perfect. Now light and discuss...Slayer better with Maduro or Habano? 5 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra While this is described as a medium to full bodied smoke, I felt that it was closer to smooth and much much closer to medium while truly representing that rich Nicaraguan spice. It was really delicious, burned very well and I felt the construction was excellent. So how did they do it? Smooth and rich. It felt like a stronger smoke on the nicotine side yet not even a hint of bite. The flavors and richness really stand out and anytime you can pick up a box of 16 for $50 just do it. Of note, I always let my smokes rest in my humidor. 2 weeks if I'm impatient. 2 months if I already have that brand and style. 6 months if I'm saving them for an occasion I know is coming up. A year or more if they are one of favs that's really super strong right out of the box but, even at that level of strength I still like the taste. I've had some in my humidor for 16 years that were a real gut punch when I got them and the extended aging did not hurt them a bit. 4 5 1

Chthonius Sumatra Got 5 of these for free with another order, can't wait to try these 5 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra I have smoked many Nicaraguan Puro’s alike many different Nicaraguan blends and this brand the Black Abyss Nicaraguan is a Homerun and a no brainer, when it comes to smoking experience and selection, truthfully I’ve turned a blind eye on this one for over two years, I’ve seen other reviews, that kinda shy’ed me a May from this stick until I received a free pack! When I revived them and inspected this cigar two things popped out! The oily sheen and beautiful color on the wrapper and second the flawless construction on this 6x60 viotola, then I said to myself screw it it was a free bargain so what do I have to loose! So quickly cut it took a cold draw and was hit with this well aged tobacco taste with citrusy taste, I said hell son, this is going too be a good interesting smoke, I quickly lit her up and experienced, coffee, cocoa, cedar, leathery earth tones, as she warmed up the flavors, became a well harsh free , bitter less taste of goodness, sweet earth, cocoa, coffee, and cocoa, a bit nutty with underlining fruit spices, with a touch of a very nice white pepper, draw was perfect, burn had to be touched up a few times, but what a completely different outlook I had on this stick, I will purchase the robusto and the wraith size soon, this is box worthy and nubb worthy cigar. Fantastic bargain and should pair well with bourbon or scotch. Another great cigar that will hit my humidor selection soon, thanks to JR’s prices and generous freebies. Smoke them if u got them boys and girls! This one is a winner. 4 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra Found these on sale and tried a box. Was not disappointed from the first to last stick. Very consistent. Just a little tight on the draw, but nothing I can't live with. 5 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra I received the cigars and was pleased with packaging and presentation. I have always enjoyed the Banshee from Black Abyss. Upon lighting, the draw was so tight it was hard to get lit. Because of that the flavor was nonexistent. I finally laid it down and let it go out. Everyone gets a bad one sometimes…right? Then I tried my second one and had the exact same experience. They now in a humidor I don’t use. 2 5 1

Chthonius Sumatra Great smoke and really smooth. 5 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra Well you pay a little more you get a little more. This cigar is at the upper end of my price range and I got a five pack. They really are a good cigar Burns evenly it's really really fine it is more expensive than the other 60 rings but it's a lot less expensive than some of the others. I would highly recommend it 5 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra The vast majority of these cigars are very enjoyable! Every so often, though, I get1 or 2 that seem to be wrapped a little loose, requiring a wrapper-burn to get the wrapper back even with the burning tobacco inside… other than that, the flavor is excellent, & I’ve gotten a few of my co-workers to try a few… Definitely would recommend!! 4 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra Good smoke 5 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra Bland. A tasteless cigar. 3 5 1
Chthonius Sumatra Bought the Toro and was very pleased! When I saw the Gordo I had to grab em up on $ale! Great smoke for aging! 5 5 1
