Double Chateau I was so looking forward to this smoke. Hoping that many of the reviews were one offs and that the mentioned construction issues were rare.This is not the Fuente I remember. Uneven burn started about half way through and the unraveling wrapper did not help. The taste was fine although if I purchase again I'll likely try the sun grown. 4 5 1

Double Chateau An incredible value that's been consistent since I discovered these in the mid 90's. The flavor is smooth and mellow with a nutty finish and you can make it to the ring before the smoke gets too toasty. First timers and people upgrading from gas station cigars will be ruined for anything else after a few minutes. Light enough to enjoy after dinner but satisfying anytime. The long length and burn time is really the only thing preventing this from being a daily go-to. 4 5 1

Double Chateau Bitter bitter bitter. Used to be good before Cigar Aficionado came out and increased demand which meant manufactures cheapened the product to keep up production. I switched to JR Ultimates which were GREAT for 8 years now they are terrible. Switched back to Fuente and for the first year fine since late 2014 TERRIBLE. Just send back two boxes. Also wrapper comes off almost every cigar. Inconsistent and riding on their reputation don't waste your money. 1 5 1

Double Chateau I usually smoke more heavy bodied Nicaraguans. When I want a mellower smoke I grab this from the humidor. I've noticed that it dries out if left too long in the humidor and the flavor and burn can be inconsistent at times. But for the price if you are looking for a quality mellow smoke from a Fuente, then you will enjoy this. It's not special, but its not bad either. 4 5 1
