While the flavor is not my favorite & tends to run a little leather-heavy it is a gorgeous cigar with good spice and perfect construction. Cuban Belicoso This was my first Fuente in a long time. After smoking a couple of these gems I questioned why it's been so long. As I remembered each stick was perfectly rolled from top to bottom. No soft spots or imperfections in the wrapper. The wrapper a beautiful chocolate brown and silky smooth. When smoking a Belicoso I expect a smooth perfect not too tight not too loose draw. These babies did not disappoint me. They were so smooth and tasty I nubbed each one. Taste wise they are moderate to my palate especially since my main diet has been Honduran. However that's not to be confused with mild. Just as I recalled there was enough spice with coffee overtones to keep things interesting. As for the cedar wrap there's not much I can say since I have never been able to tell the difference. The bottom line is that Fuentes especially these will be a staple in my humidor going forward. 5 5 1

Cuban Belicoso My go to is the 8-5-8 but I haven’t met an Arturo Fuentes I didn’t enjoy. This one was no different. The wrapper is beautifully dark and oily. The construction perfect which made the draw just how I like it, with just enough resistance. I’m not great at the flavors but these have a sweet peppery taste. Great with a cup of dark Cuban roast Mayorga coffee or one of my favorite bourbons. Definitely a repeat purchase. 5 5 1
Cuban Belicoso I buy cigars by the box. I like to give them a chance, rather than writing a review after smoking just one or two. That said, I just finished the fifth one from the box. The taste is good. But these burn horribly. I normally have to touch up a cigar once, sometimes twice and many times not at all. Smoking these is a frustrating struggle. They go out after 90 seconds. And they burn unevenly, so the end is always jagged. It’s a shame. 3 5 1

Cuban Belicoso As is my wont, I bought a box of these. I like buying cigars by the box so I can give them a fair chance. To a cigar, these burn terribly. Taste is ok to good. But they all burn hot much too early in the smoke. I’ll save these for guests that just want a cigar and won’t care. 3 5 1
