Carrillo started his long and illustrious career when he made premium cigars for the locals at his small El Credito factory in the Little Havana district of Miami. Then, in 1972 he launched the La Gloria Cubana brand , and after many years, these fantastic cigars known only to the locals, were discovered by Cigar Aficionado . The brand received a well-deserved 92- rating and soon after that E.P. Carrillo became a household name among premium smokers everywhere.

Hailing from the company’s factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, EP Carrillo Pledge cigars are available two popular sizes: the (5x 52) Prequel and the (6 x 52) Sojourn. Both vitolas are expertly handcrafted with a unique wrapper leaf called Habano Connecticut that was cultivated exclusively for this award-winning blend. Underneath this deep brown, oily leaf, is the finest aged Nicaraguan long fillers held together by a tasty Ecuadorian binder. Smokers will discover a medium-to- full bodied smoke with highly complex flavors of leather, earth, black cherry, toast, espresso, and black pepper.
