Diesel Vintage Series is a superb new line of premium cigars whose concept was to provide remarkably rich flavors of well-aged tobaccos for a very wallet friendly price. The Diesel Vintage line is a collaboration between famed cigarmaker AJ Fernandez, and Justin Andrews the man behind STG (Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s) award winning lineup of premium brands . The blend showcases a beautiful oily and dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Habano binder from Estelí, Nicaragua, and Habano fillers from Jalapa, Nicaragua that have been aged for 5-8 years.... All of the binder and filler tobaccos used in this blend were grown on the AJ Fernandez family farms throughout the Country. This assortment of well-aged vintage tobaccos provided one of the smoothest full bodied cigars that I have ever smoked. Upon lighting, I was greeted by extremely rich flavors of pepper, earth, sweet spice, and hazelnut that remained well balanced and gentle on the palate, right down to the nub.
