For this line we teamed up with three of the top leaders in cigar manufacturing–the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras in order to bring you some of the world’s highest rated cigars, but at a fraction of the price. Our cigar experts searched high and low through the aging rooms of some of the most renowned factories in the world in pursuit to discover what we in the industry call “trapped inventory”. For specific unknown reasons, these cigars have been sitting for an extended period of time resting in the ageing room. But to our (and your) luck, perhaps due to a variety of factors such as overproduction, or something as simple as the manufacturer ran out of boxes, we were able to clear out this inventory to bring you authentic vintage cigars, hence JR Certified Vintage Cigars. These cigars that have been finely aged for an impactful amount of time are not your typical “factory overruns” or “seconds”, but true premium cigars you know and love including some that have been named to Top 25 lists by accredited cigar publications. It’s important to note, though this tends to be an overused tactic in the industry to garner hype and buzz, that because of the unpredictable nature of trapped inventory, this is truly a once it’s gone, it’s gone product. While we may continue to source such high caliber in finely aged cigars with more iterations in the future, what is available right now is all we have of that specific blend of cigar.
