Royal Return

Our heroes have now culminated their journey around the world. Having set off years ago on a seafaring voyage that began via the ADVentura release called The Explorer, the fourth installment called The Royal Return is a crowning achievement of everything they’ve learned and all the flavors they have been able to master during their time at sea. King’s Gold is a combination of Connecticut broadleaf wrapper around Mexican San Andres binder and wrapper from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and the United States. Queen’s Pearls, meanwhile, is an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and binder over fillers sourced from Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Nicaragua. King’s Gold is the stronger of the two selections, though both lines have undergone a special process with the Connecticut wrapper to, according to the company, stay light on the palate while “allowing the flavor to linger long after the puff or retrohale.” King’s Gold is espresso colored with a beautiful, rustic gold band. Dried fruit, baked goods, cream, coffee and a mild earthy note make up this medium-bodied smoke. Queen’s Pearls, on the other hand, has a stunning light cedar-like color, with predominant flavors of cream, roasted nuts and a more savory salt and pepper balance which perfectly compliments the floral cold draws that burst from the cigar as soon as they’re removed from the box.
